Believe it or not I walked away from this teapot the first time I saw it. After being haunted by the unique shape and style, I drove all the way back across the state, praying it would still be there. It was and I am very please to offer it for your consideration now! This shape was introduced by Hall China in 1939. It is a delicate yellow decorated with lovely orange poppy blossoms and tiny blue blossoms. The pot is in great condition with a tiny chip on the bottom inside of the lid that would not be visible when sitting in the teapot. There is also a tiny, 5mm, flaw under the glaze, (appears to have occurred during firing) at the very base of the teapot that would not effect use and does not make this pot any less appealing. there are no cracks, crazing, or repairs. The inside of the pot is perfectly clean as if it has never been used. This make me wonder why the silver trim has tiny scratches and fading in spots. The dimensions are 6 1/2"H and 9 1/2" L. It is a 6 cup teapot. Please contact us with any questions you may have or to request further information.
